In this interactive workshop participants will learn about data processing tools like mzLogic data analysis algorithm to rank order database hits using fragmentation spectra, FISh to structurally explain fragment ions, QC-based normalization for batch correction, Thermo Scientific mzCloud™ spectral library for spectral matching, and untargeted stable isotope labeling.

A High Throughput Metabolomics Workflow from Samples to Biological Information

In this presentation, we describe a complete workflow for increasing analysis throughput while improving metabolome coverage. A dual LC-MS system equipped with AcquireX intelligent acquisition was utilized. The AcquireX algorithm fragmented more unique metabolites, by annotating non-biological features and redundant features on the fly. Data analysis included unknown annotation and pathway mapping for biological knowledge generation.
